Amazing! Great catch. Congratulations. The ones around here NEVER make sounds long enough to grab a record. They'll whoop once and then one will answer. That's it. Once we heard a chorus of screams for a few seconds then silence. Another time a whistle then silence. Same with wood knocks. One or two then silence. Once we were sitting out on our gazebo, in the dark, and they were making "Woo!" sounds over and over but they were on 2 sides (east and west) of us with a silent one's eyeshine on the north side. Recording never crossed our mind only escape as we backed into the house and turned on the floods.

Three on the tree is a manual with a clutch and three gears. The shifter is on the steering column where it is on an automatic. The tree is the steering wheel 😊 Damn, made me feel old. I had an F150 3 on the tree, loved that thing!

I admit I was scared to comment because I soooo..didn't want to be blocked for being sad! I believe that no matter "how close the encounter" we need to support each other if we ever want the scientific world to take a serious look at what people are seeing! A bear has incredible strength, far more than I could imagine when I put 1/8' steel bars wrapped around my dumpster to keep them out and it was twisted back like aluminum foil to get to the food. But a bear needs a good reason to apply power, food, scraps, and chickens. To pull a tree and stand down for the hell of it I don't think so. It would use too many calories that it needs over the year for zero gain. No sasquatch where I'm at. Poconos.
